Atabaş Group has been active in international physical commodity trading since 1981. We operate as principal across energy, metals, petrochemicals, agricultural commodities, construction materials and bioenergy — with formal SPAs, independent third-party inspection and a 400-broker global network spanning 55+ countries.
Atabaş Group enters every transaction as named principal, not intermediary. A formal Sale and Purchase Agreement specifying commodity, specification, volume, price benchmark, delivery term and payment schedule is signed before any cargo nomination, vessel booking or pre-shipment activity begins.
SGS, Bureau Veritas or Intertek inspection of quantity and quality is conducted at the load port before the Bill of Lading is issued. The inspection certificate is the contractual quality reference — disputes are resolved at origin, not after the vessel has sailed. No exceptions for any significant cargo.
Ocean freight (bulk, tanker, container), road haulage (TIR/ADR), rail (BTK/Middle Corridor) and intermodal combinations are coordinated as part of the supply contract — not left to the buyer to arrange under FOB terms unless explicitly agreed. Istanbul, Mersin and Fujairah give access to all primary trade routes.
